What do you get when you join up 5 of Irelands finest traditional and rock musicians? The answer is the sheer power, dynamism and live energy that embodies Trad/Rock/Fusion band The Woodbines.
Formed in April 2007 the band is fast becoming one of the most sought after acts on the Irish and European live music scene. Blending traditional Irish music with pop, rock, Cajun and folk songs to create a blistering live show, The Woodbines certainly serve up a pulsating eclectic set wherever they perform. Their live sound captures an audience and has introduced a host of newcomers to the energy and dynamism of Celtic influenced Rock music.
